How is the public aware about the water supply schedule in the "Yerevan Djur" CJSC Service Area? Where is possible to apply for getting information concerning the water supply hours of the mentioned area? |
According to the order confirmed by the Public Services Regulatory Commission of the RA, twice a year the Water Supply Schedule is being published in the press. The public is informed about the former via the TV/Mass Media in advance. The Company's customers and consumers can be also informed about the water supply hours of the mentioned area by applying to the Yerevan Municipality, District Municipalities, Rural Municipalities, NGOs advocating consumers rights, as well as the "Yerevan Djur" CJSC Customer Service Front Offices., calling "1-85" Call Center and writing e-mails at com@yerevandjur.am. |

The water supply shortages are consequences of breakdown elimination (non-planned) or planned construction prevention works. In all cases the "Yerevan Djur" CJSC informs about the mentioned shortages the State Government and Local Self-Governing bodies by the Mass Media. What should be done, if the water quality of the tap is doubtful? |
The former should be immediately informed to the "Yerevan Djur" CJSC through the "1-85" Call Center by mentioning the address and phone number. The Company's Central Laboratory staff will visit you and take water sample, check the water quality and its correspondence to the confirmed sanitary norms and rules. |

Firstly, it is better to request a clarification concerning the Vendor/Company financial relationships for purchasing the appartment/house without any debt and avoiding further difficulties. What should be done in case of leaving the appartment/home for a long time? |
The former should be informed to the Customer Service Front Office of the Company for local water supply shortage and sealing. |
If the water consumption is doubtful, where should be applied for checking its correctness, and if necessary to repair or change the water meter? |
In such cases it is necessary to apply for re-sealing the water meter, then you will be able to dismantle the water meter and apply to the Company's Water Meter Testing Laboratory (in the area of the "Aeratsia" Plant, at 94 Shiraki, Yerevan). The Customer should carry out all the expenses himself. |
What should be done if the water pipe is damaged and the water meter must be urgently dismantled and re-sealed? |
In such cases, and also if it was found out that the seal was damaged because of the subscriber's negligence, corrosion and other similar technical reasons, a request should be submitted to the Company's Customer Service Front Office. And in case of the water pipe breakdown and urgent interventions necessity for breakdown elimination, you have to call the "1-85" Call Center by mentioning the address and the phone number. After the work completion and re-installation of the water meter you should apply to the same Service for recalculation of the water consumption and the water meter re-sealing. |
What kind of privileges are defined for the water tariff and who may apply for it? |
According to the 08.07.1997 N 251 Resolution's Sub-clauses (d) and (e), the right for 50% discount payment of the water and wastewater tariff have the citizens of the following groups: (d) former USSR Heroes, Heroes of Socialistic Work, National Heroes of Armenia, people awarded with the medals of "Military Cross" of the 1st and 2nd degree and of three degrees of "Glory"; (e) individual pensioners. |
Is the "Yerevan Djur" CJSC eligible to compel the subscribers for covering the debts accumulated during the "Yerevan Water and Sewerage" CJSC? |
No, it is not eligible. The "Yerevan Djur" CJSC is not the legal successor of "Yerevan Water and Sewerage" CJSC. |
