The "Yerevan Djur" CJSC has started applying Flexim flowmeters
Following its traditional policy focused on priority investment of technological innovations, among other technical facilities the "Yerevan Djur" CJSC regularly modernizes the measurment devices applied in the system, due to the latter the performed activities' efficiency increases in particular.
Thus, on the 6th October, 2011, several flowmeters were imported, these are the production of famous Danish "Flexim" Brand. These devices make possible measuring the water volume passing through the pipe, according to different parameters, i.e. l/sec or m3, and the water temperature. Moreover, it performs the function ofthe loggers - tension measurement devices, and collects data of several days.
The new flowmeters give the specialists' team of the water distribution network sectorization, the opportunity for studying the water lines, according to the received water volume, detect the invisible breakdowns in shorter periods, and, what is the most important, settle the existing issues in the shortest terms. Thus, it becomes possible eliminating daily 3-4 breakdowns, instead of 1, as well as reducing the duration of the breakdown elimination works. According to the preliminary experimental calculations, the breakdown elimination time will be reduced about one hour, making 11 hours in average.
Moreover, among the water companies in the region, the "Yerevan Djur" CJSC was the first to apply last-model flowmeters of the "Flexim" Brand.
